Utworzenie sieci tras rowerowych - podpisanie listu intencyjnego

12 kwietnia br. w Zamku Książąt Pomorskich, Burmistrz Barlinka Pan Dariusz Zieliński uczestniczył w spotkaniu z Marszałkiem Województwa Zachodniopomorskiego Olgierdem Geblewiczem w sprawie utworzenia Sieci tras rowerowych Pomorza Zachodniego.

Najważniejszym punktem spotkania było podpisanie listów intencyjnych przez przedstawicieli gmin leżących na projektowanej Trasie Pojeziernej i Trasie Myśla-Tywa-Odra-Zalew.
Głównym celem projektu jest rozwój turystyki rowerowej na Pomorzu Zachodnim poprzez utworzenie spójnej sieci głównych i tematycznych tras rowerowych, których łączna długość wyniesie ponad 1000 km. W wyniku analizy zebranych materiałów, Zarząd Województwa wybrał cztery trasy priorytetowe. Jedną z nich jest Trasa Pojezierna, która przebiega m.in. przez Myślibórz, Barlinek, Choszczno.

Realizacja projektu będzie finansowana z funduszy europejskich (85%), samorządu województwa zachodniopomorskiego (7,5%) oraz gmin i powiatów (7,5%).

Zgodnie z planami w najbliższym czasie zostanie przygotowana dokumentacja budowlana, a w 2017r. rozpocznie się budowa pierwszych odcinków tras rowerowych, w pierwszym etapie planuje się wybudowanie trasy rowerowej z Dzikowa do Barlinka po dawnym torowisku oraz budowa centrum przesiadkowego, a także droga dla rowerów z Barlinka do Pełczyc.

Koncepcja utworzenia sieci tras rowerowych Pomorza Zachodniego wpisuje się w Strategię Rozwoju Miasta i Gminy Barlinek do roku 2023.
