W dniu 3 maja w kościele pw. NSNMP uroczyście odprawiono mszę św. w intencji Ojczyzny. Tradycyjnie, jak co roku, złożono wiązanki kwiatów pod obeliskiem marszałka Józefa Piłsudskiego. Kwiaty składali przedstawiciele samorządów, instytucji, stowarzyszeń i szkół, a wszystko to w obecności pocztów sztandarowych, uczczono 232. rocznicę uchwalenia Konstytucji 3 Maja.

Wartę pod pomnikiem, pełnili harcerze z Harcerskiego Szczepu Puszczy Barlineckiej. 3 Maja Polska i Polacy na całym świecie obchodzą święto narodowe upamiętniające przyjęcie w 1791 r. pierwszej w Europie i drugiej na świecie spisanej konstytucji.
